Need for Renewable energy :
Uptill now for our energy requirements, we use fossil fuels such as petroleum and natural gad. These are called conservation energy sources. But to excessive demands for these fuels in Industries and automobiles sectors. These natural resources have been started depleting as they are available in fixed reserves Gradually shortages of these energy sources have been started. It is estimated that the reserves of fossil fuels are going to be exhausted in near future. Due to this reason the need for using renewable energy sources has been generated.
Dish advantage of Conservation sources of energy are as under :
A/ Reserves of conventional energy sources like coal, petroleum and natural gasses are fixed and limited. They are now getting exhausted due increasing consumption.
B/ Cost of conversational energy sources are continuously increasing because demand for the energy is increasing their supply is decreasing.
C/ Conversational energy sources cannot be regenerated as it requires thousands of years to produce raw fossil fuels like coal, petroleum natural gas.
D/ Transportation of raw energy such as coal, petroleum and Natural gas is difficult as well as costly.
E/ Transmission and distribution of energy generated by the conventional sources are costly.
F/ When Conventional sources of energy are processed , They contribute various types of pollution in the atmosphere. As for example when coal is burnt it produces Co2, Co and So2 which are very harmful. Coal also produce Ash during it's combustion causing solid waste pollution.
G/ Hydropower can be available from only from limited number of places.
H/ Conventional sources of energy cause global warming which is a threat to the human existence.
I/ Conventional sources are likely to be exhausted within few hundred years.
