As they are continuously renewed and replenished They are called renewable energy sources.

The 🌞 sun is a source of solar energy. It is large hydrogen reactor in which nuclear reaction are continuously taking place as a result Solar radiations are continuously eninating from it. The solar Rays in the form electromagnetic waves are received on Earth contains light and heat energy.Solar energy is abundantly available and also at free of cost. Approximately seven KWH per day per square meter energy is available from sun rays.
They are many applications for direct utilization of Solar energy.
1) It is used for heating water in Solar water heaters for domestic and Industrial uses.
2) It is used in Solar dryer for drying agricultural produce and fishes.
3) It is used to running solar water pump.
4) It is used in Solar thermal power plant to generate electricity.
5) It is used for domestic cooking in Solar cooker.
6) It is used in traffic signals , street light and railway signals.
