The sources of Biomass are as under :

(1) Plants and trees :-
leaves of the plants, stalks of the crops, roots, trunks woods are the major sources of Biomass. Mangroves, forest products are the sources of Biomass. |

(2) Excreta and gobar :-
Excreta and gobar of animals, birds, and human beings and their urines are important sources of Biomass. These can be collected from the sewages and digested in the Biogas plants by Anaerobic digestion.(3) Domestic waste :-
House waste such as left over foods ,skins and left over vegetables, waste papers and clothes etc.
(4) Hotel and hospital wastes :-
The organic Waste Produced from the hotels and hospitals such as foods, papers and clothes etc.Define Energy : Enlist various types of Energy.
